"I highly recommend this restaurant - The food is amazing presented on fine dinnerware and looks like it should be on The Food Network. The service is equally amazing as the staff is very polite and professional. The best dining experience in years. The prices are very affordable when you see what you get and how nicely it's presented and how amazing it tastes. I got their Shrimp Stir-Fry (fresh and flavorful) and my friend got the Roast Turkey dinner (not pressed turkey, rather chunks of real turkey, real chunky mashed potatoes, and you could tell the carrots were freshly peeled; the gravy was like silk all over amazing bread. This is a family owned restaurant where the son is the chef. I tipped him, and he tried to refuse it, but I wouldn't take it back. Real classy establishment! A+++"

"How to start, the owner/server is simply amazing. She knows how to treat her customers. She is cheerful and nice. Start a conversation on each table and ask you how everything was every few minutes and when you are checking out. The food is just perfect. The Swiss cheese mushroom omelette had a huge amount of melted Swiss cheese of the good quality and as big of mushroom. I just love this place and I really respect the business owners who treat their customers the way they deserve. Thank you!"

"The Maple Leaf is one of my favorite diners (much better than Coney Island chains). My husband and I normally pop in for breakfast on Saturday mornings. The staff is always friendly and hustling to make sure you are taken care of and the food is delivered piping hot to your table. One time my husband was particularly hungry and kept looking at the kitchen window to see if our food was coming out. The manager came over and apologized for our wait and bought our entire groups' drinks! We only waited maybe 5 or 10 extra minutes than normal, but that is how attentive the service is here. Good quality and good prices will keep us coming here for many years to come!"

"First time dining experience. Quick meal before the MJR movie theater at the corner. This diner with simple but clean setting surprised us with a wide choice of foods. The meal of very good creamy scalloped potatoes and beef with white sauce and the chicken marsala with fresh sliced button mushrooms / real mashed potatoes were tasty. Side salad had fresh greens. Tried crunchy fat slices onion rings(not oily at all) too.Quick service from our waitress who was attentive and gave great suggestions. Owner even came over to check on our meal satisfaction. Creamy rice pudding came with the meal. Will come back! "

"My husband and I do breakfast here almost once a week. It is our go-to diner-style restaurant. The food is consistent with what you would find at your typical local diner, BUT it is SO MUCH better. You can tell the owners care about the quality of the ingredients and their diner's experience. It is so clean! This must be mentioned as most diners cannot make this same claim. Including the Coney down the road. The service is very fast and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant for any meal of the day."
